My name is Courtney McMullin. I am an actor, singer, pianist and vocal coach from Southern Utah. I graduated from Southern Utah University with a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance where I created, produced, and performed a one-woman show titled Who I Am.
With the help of some incredible collaborators, I was able to take my show to NYC and perform off-Broadway at Theatre Row for several esteemed vocal coaches and directors.
In 2018 I had the wonderful experience of participating in the Utah Shakespeare Fellowship Program, where I created and performed original vocal compositions for The Merchant of Venice. Since then I have performed all over the Midwest and in several cities on the East Coast.
I am currently in Northern Utah, where I am continuing my vocal performance study, via Zoom, with NYC's own Diane Tauser. I am currently working as Musical Director for Zac Trotter at Salem Hills High School, as well as running my own vocal studio. I also serve as the Artistic Associate for Iron Stage Theatricals.
Networking, collaborating, and community building make up important pieces of who I am as an artist. Theatre is my life-blood. It holds me accountable to my human nature, and gives me the opportunity to grow and to actively take part in the world around me.
I believe that theatre gives people the ability to express and experience life in a way that, in turn, gives freedom and inspiration throughout all aspects of our lives.
